As it stands today, if a modification comes through from an OTA for a reservation that has already checked in, Rover will simply ignore the change (without any notification). This behavior is the opposite of what is desired as, in many cases, the guest arrives on property and loves it so much that they want to extend their stay. Instead of extending the reservation in Rover (or providing some kind of notification that it is not doing so), Rover simply ignores the request from the OTA.
If the OTA themselves had a policy of not changing/modifying reservations after check-in then I could understand this behavior. However, they happily accept changes that are then not passed through to the PMS creating confusion for both staff & the customer. Worse, the change is accepted by the OTA but then inventory is not correctly updated in the PMS which can lead to overbookings.
I strongly suggest that Rover either accept changes from the OTA or at least provide a notification that the hotel must take action.
