Improve visibility for Actions
The Brass Key Guesthouse also thinks it would be helpful to see what actions are yet to be completed for today on the Dashboard!
Additional feedback from Sierra Meadows -
With the new alerts enhancement, it would be helpful if these were on the Dashboard too.
A box for Alerts can/should function in the same way as a dynamic VIP or Checked Out with Balance box on the Dashboard - it’s there if things exist unresolved / uncompleted in that status and disappears if the list has been cleared.
We are basically just looking for a shared "to do list" that updates dynamically somewhere on the Dashboard. Then employees can easily see how many items are not yet resolved and work towards getting that number down to 0 (where the box would disappear). The new alerts and actions are great but need to be surfaced in a way that makes them more visible vs. clicking on every stay card or looking through a scheduled report. We currently use VIP to flag these things but would be great if we didn't have to use that toggle as it doubles the work required.
I think it would also be visually helpful to see the alert icon appear on all arrivals or when you go and search up a reservation with name or reservation number. Similar to how you can see D on a Daytripper reservations. Maybe the bell icon can show up on the reservation where the letter D currently sits or next to it for reservations who has action/alerts on it.
This bell icon shown where the D is for day trippers or next to it.
Arrivals: Highlighted area where the bell icon would go for reservations with action/alerts.

The Actions feature seems like it would be more powerful if it were more visible in the UI. For example, it would be great if the Dashboard had a box where you could quickly see what Actions were due on that day. Or, for another example, if you're looking at the Arrivals for the day, if there were some sort of icon denoting that a particular guest stay card had an unresolved action on it. Right now, as far as I can tell, the only way to see the Actions is to actually open up the Actions Manager area which requires staff to remember to check that each day. Surfacing the Actions in a more visible way would help staff stay on top of these items each day.
