Feature request for ID scanning to leave out the picture scanned of the front and backside of the ID?

agree that, in general, the more flexibility with the ID scanning the better. on a similar note, we would also like to be able to allow expired IDs as we have issues with this sometimes.

Dear SNT support,
In the Netherlands we are only legal obliged to save the ID number of a guest who checks in.
Lately I have been getting lots of discussions with guests about our ID scanning and that the result of a scan shows the picture of the front and backside of the ID/passport captured. This gives them a feeling we are saving those information of the ID/passport (but we are not legally allowed to save them). We even got some guests even cancelling their booking because it gives them a perception we are saving those private information. At last, I had a guest that doesn't trust the system and wanted me to manually enter his ID number and check him in. It is a sensitive subject.
I was wondering if it is possible as a feature request to leave the front side and backside of the ID/passport picture captured during a check in process out, this way discussions about this matter can be avoided.
Best regards,
