It would save time if agents are able to change rooms once the guest is checked in.
It is not always that the guests do not like the room. If the guest immediately complains after checking in then an easy workaround is to cancel the check-in, change room, and check-in again. But in scenarios where after few hours there are some maintenance issues in that room like no hot water, AC not working, Toilet leaking, etc in which case the guest cannot stay in that room anymore, it will be necessary to move the guest. And cancel check-in might not be an option as there could have been charges posted. In such a scenario, the hotel should be able to do a room move.
