A less annoying Suppressed Rate option
Hi Patrick,
Please help us to understand a bit better your current concerns. We have a user permission driven function to VIEW RATE when the rate is suppressed, which is visible next to the Balance on the stay card when the permission is active and the rate is suppressed - see below. When clicked, the rate will be visible in both the stay card and the billing screen for the duration of the user session on this particular reservation. Is this what you refer to?
Thanks,

Yes, I am aware of the "View Rate" button on the Stay Card. My problem is that I have to keep pressing it depending on what I'm doing. If I'm looking at the Bills, I have to go back to the stay card, press the View Rate button and then go back to the bill I want to look at in order to see the rate. If I need to go back to the stay card and look at, say, the Activity Log, it hides all the rates again and I have to remember to push the button again if I want to be able to see the rate on the Bills. It's annoying and I wish there was either a) a second "view rate" button in the "Bills" section or b) an option in the settings that will only mask the rate on whatever the guest may see and leave it visible for employee's by default. I can't think of a scenario that applies to us where I wouldn't want an employee to be able to see the rate. Does that make sense?
PUBLIC Hotels would also like to see this enhanced so that they can select to "view" the surpressed rate when they are already on the Bill & Charges screen.

I don't like having to switch screens constantly between the bill and the stay card in order to reveal the rate. I don't understand why the rate is being suppressed so that staff can't see it, even in the bill. Please add a button on the bill portion of a reservation that will allow me to unmask the rate without having to go back and forth to the stay card. Or you can provide a setting that would turn off the suppressed rate function for everything except for anything that would be viewed by the guest.
