Tax Exempt Rules on a Group Block Do Not Copy to Reservations Booked from Outside the PMS

Sorry - this has come through on our feature request board which only periodically gets monitored - however as per description above this to me sounds more like an actual defect. I will see that our support team can investigate further and advise you of the next steps in order to get this rectified.

If you setup a Group Block and flag it to be Tax Exempt with the applicable Tax Exempt Rule, only reservations made directly in the PMS will default to tax exempt. Therefore Groups that are bookable online (in our case, in Windsurfer) will deliver the group reservations to the correct Block in StayNTouch, but the Tax Exempt status on the group will not copy/apply to the reservations.
