Credit card authorize when charges added

Hello,
We do have settings that allow you to "top up" the authorization during night audit, which should cover most of these scenarios. You can find that in Settings > Reservations > Reservation Settings > CC TOP UP AUTHORIZATION RULE.
We also have settings that prohibit guests from charging from a POS integration if there are not enough funds authorized to cover the amount of the charges. This is found in Settings > Hotel & Staff > Settings & Parameters > Payment Gateway Settings > Check Guest Authorization For Interface Postings (toggling on would enable this feature). Many hotels choose to disable this, however, and rely on the top up and manual validation of the Credit Check Report to ensure enough funds are held.

When adding a charge on a reservation it would be nice if the system would reach out for authorization of funds. If a guest goes above the incidental hold on the card the system will not check for more funds.
Our hotel has lost a lot of money on this and we have only been with the system for a month.
