Group Shoulder Dates

There are times when a group is not contracted to hold inventory for dates surrounding, but it still benefits the hotel to sell rooms to the group for those extended dates.

It would be great to have a way to allow the group to book the shoulder dates with the option of allowing the contracted rate or BAR without holding inventory specifically for the group.

Yes please! It would make life so much easier as we hold inventory for shoulder dates but it's not always necessary!

I am not sure my concern is related to this thread. My problem is we have a group currently in-house and scheduled to check-out on the 25th of April. Due to government mandatory requirements, the group check-out date is now moved to the 26th. But, the system won't allow me to move the group date simultaneously. An error prompted " Unable to move group, reserved rooms cannot be extended for selected date range.. ..
