Cancellation Rules

Deposit rules allow us to have multiple schedules, so we can essentially take a 10% deposit at time of booking, another 50% 2 weeks before arrival, and the balance the day before arrival. 


We would like to use the same schedule functionality with cancellations - so that if the guest cancels 1 month in advance they are only liable for 50% of the cost, 2 weeks before stay 75% of the cost, 1 week before stay 100% of the cost.  These are example figures of course, just to illustrate what we are after.

This would be so helpful for us too - right now we are stuck with manually calculating and posting a second cancellation charge to equal the total amount due because we don’t have a second schedule option. We experience a lot of user error with this and having multiple schedule options would eliminate that.

Hi Claire - Chequit's deposit / cancellation policies are as follows:
Single (one) night reservations must be paid in full at the time of booking.  A 50% deposit is required for all other reservations at the time of booking; the balance of your reservation is due upon arrival.  

Cancellations made UP TO 30 days prior to arrival date will result in a refund of the deposit less a 15% service charge. Cancellations WITHIN 30 days of the arrival date, regardless of reason, will result in a forfeiture of total deposit amount.   If you fail to show up for your reservation and do not notify the inn 48 hours prior to your arrival you will be charged for the entire stay.
