Ability to edit reference on payment after posting

You could work around this with a custom description maybe - would this help?

Hi Nicki,
I suggested this but custom description is only available to a few users on property. Current work around offered is to refund and repost the payment (these are internal, non CC payments so no issues there). So not an urgent request, but something they would like to see in the future. Thanks so much!

This is also being requested by the Landsby in order to be able to fully update an incorrect reference added. Understand the custom edit.
where are we at with this request? our refunding and reposting payment(non credit card payments) is starting to take a toll on our accounting end.

4 Bears Casino would like the ability to edit the reference field on a payment after it has been posted in case they need to include comp information which was not present on check out
