Additional validation in StayNTouch to disable the entry of a special character in a new rate

In the Rates section, when a new rate is entered containing a special character like a quote, then StayNTouch does NOT generate an error message but truncates the entered value and then updates the rate with this truncated value.
Example: the rate is 54 and should become 55. The reservation agent makes an error and types 5'. We noticed that StayNTouch will truncate to 5 and the rate will be set to 5.
The request is that when a special character is entered, a warning message is displayed to the user and that he or she is prompted to re-enter the rate.
