Charge Rates for room upgrades

Dear, 

When we upsell a room type for arrival guests we chose the amount we would like to charge for this particular upgrade. 
unfortunately, we can only the see the costs for this charge after the end of day in our billing. 

Is there, or can there be a method developed so we can see the charge immediately right after charging the costs? 
This to avoid double postings.

Adding to this > We need a way to edit / remove the value if an amount was accidentally set. Prior to check in, changing the room type again removes the value, but once the reservation is checked in, rate changes and/or room type changes don't seem to remove the upsell value.

Per LA would also like the ability to see the room upgrade fee outside of a pro-forma invoice or activity log for quick reference.

This would be nice to have a new button under Bill and charges on the right side of the Guest Card OR directly under Rates and Add Ons that shows "Upgrade amount". Since it isn't tied to the main rate anyways and is posted as an extra "Room upgrade" charge or different posting code, It would be nice to clearly see what the original rate is on the screen and what the Upsell/Upgrade amount is.

As system can automate the billing for an upgrade, would be ideal if - when downgraded - the system would remove the charges rather than manually changing the room type / rate and or creating a secondary bill for these charges and adjusting at a later point in time.
