Rate Sync Utility being suspended

Our product development team has been working on the optimization of the rate manager to assist with update speeds as well as rate pushes to CRS interfaces. During our research and progress towards a resolution, it has come to our attention that the use of the rate sync utility has been causing a delay in our message processing.

The frequency that the rate sync utility is being used is causing a substantial delay to Rover updates as well as CRS updates. This is impacting all customers, as a result, we are removing the access to the rate resync functionality.  If you experience an out of balance rate please open a support ticket for our internal team to troubleshoot. This will allow the resync to be run in a more judicious manner after assessing the cause of imbalance and impact on overall queues. We will ensure that you have complete visibility to the troubleshooting so you are aware of what steps are being taken to address the escalated ticket.

Hi Chelsea,

Is this removing the "resync rates" tool only? Will we still be able to synchronize data in the interfaces setting?

Thanks,

Julia Harvey

Will this be coming back? I would love to be able to repush rates to our CRS more often than every 180 minutes. Especially if you mistakenly enter a rate or want to push out a new rate to adjust for demand.

Is there any update on this comment entered by Chelsea Madden (at StayNTouch?) 4 years ago?

Thanks,
