If a permission group does not have the permission to "Create an AR Account" they are unable to do anything in the AR Account. (cannot make a payment, view a statement - the screen is semi-greyed out)
Could we consider a change to this logic... that you need to have CREATE AR ACCOUNT in order to do anything in AR?
Operationally, a senior member of staff from the accounts department would agree to grant credit facilities (an AR Account) to a company or an agent. The accounts clerks from the hotel, are responsible for taking payments, sending statements etc... but hotel management would not like those users to be able to create the accounts.
