During the check-in process, the guest can opt-in to receive further marketing information and promotions. This is currently only available during check-in through Rover. If the guests opt in or out of this process the corresponding checkbox on the guest card will be updated and logged in the change log (WIP). This can be viewed in the screenshot below (see the checkbox on the top-right beneath e-mail address):
This information is not currently included in the XML file sent to digital alchemy. This is important because it will allow us to protect the identity of all guests who refuse to opt-in and not target them with marketing messages.
Can this be added as a field to the XML file that is sent to Digital Alchemy for all reservations?
Please let me know if anything is required on the hotel's or Digital Alchemy's end to make this happen.
