Maintenance Functionality

We would like to see maintenance functionality built into the PMS as promised when sold to us in June 2017. We understand that Maintenance can be assigned in the tasklist function for housekeeping. However, it cannot be tracked. It would be very helpful to be able to track and log completed maintenance tasks within the PMS. Furthermore, have the action manager able to send maintenance action items that can be tracked and logged in the PMS. There was a "maintenance" tab under housekeeping that is since gone.

WE also would like to see increased functionality of the maintenance/ housekeeping features.  We would like to assign and keep track of maintenance tasks per room or area, instead of by employee.

We would also like to see the maintenance functionality increase. Currently, there's the ability to assign tasks to maintenance but there's not one specific section for the maintenance guy to see all tasks at hand. In the interim, we've created a Maintenance Request group (see attached) and we put them all in the action section of the group. We've trained our maintenance director to look here for outstanding requests, but we'd like to see a Maintenance tab on the left that holds all ongoing requests with the ability to send emails of new items. We found that there's no way to notify our maintenance rep if he's offsite.

We need better maintenance by room functionality.  A quick fix SNT could do is to allow the hotel to CHECK-IN guests for an OOS.  You can sell the room up until the date it is OOS.  If you allowed the hotel to override that we could track room by reason and still run reports.  PLEASE CONSIDER ASAP!

PLEASE CONSIDER ASAP updating the OOS function to include current functionality to track maintenance items BUT let you override to CHECK-IN GUESTS to an OOS room.  We already have OOO which lets you take out. You can already run reports for this feature but sometimes you want to sell the room for the night while you are doing items, ie carpet cleaning etc.  SEEMS LIKE A SIMPLE FIX

Lodges at Cresthaven would also like to see a more robust maintenance ticketing functionality. They are currently using actions as a workaround but this does not meet all of the needs of a maintenance tracking function.

CODA Williamsburg would also like to see this enhancement and believe it would be a big differentiator for Stayntouch.
