Internal Alert Function
Yes, an internal alert function that shows an alert on the screen if an internal alert has been made is a must have. Would be great if it there could be 3 categories of alerts; check-in, reservation, check-out (alert during check-in process, when reservation is opened, check-out process). Allow receptionist to acknowledge to not show it again, but there would be instances where an alert showing each time a looks at the reservation would be needed if they need to be aware of something about a guest.
This is a must have. Alert function that shows an on-screen alert during check-in processes, check-out process and alert when viewing the reservation. Creating the alert you can choose one or more processes during which it will show up.
We really need this internal alert function - SO many important information is being lost - front office don´t have time to open every Note at check in. Alert function is both for doing the extra service for the guest and also doing the margin for errors much smaller.
This is a must have!
This feature will minimize counts on failure - and improve service for both arriving, inhouse and departuring guests...

is there a way to post an internal alert
This was just released - we will be switching everyone over to the new Alerts / Notes by end May. Please contact support if you would like to switch earlier. Thanks!

We just had a situation where an add-on was posted on a reservation which is to be maid by invoice. The guest wanted to pay for his wife, and this is to be paid directly by him, and NOT be visual on the invoice which goes to his company. To do this we need to move the EXTRA BED post (The add on), to window number 2, but we're not able to do so before the night run has been made. This is why we request the ALERT feature; so that we can attach an alert to the reservation which opens at check out, letting the working receptionist know that she needs to move the add on post to window nr 2 BEFORE check out.
