I would love to have a guest priority button. This button would be used when a guest attempts an early check-in but we are lacking their roomtype. This would give them digital priority over mobile check-ins so that they would not loose their room to a person who is not onsite nor will they be onsite for several hours. Yesterday I attempted to get a family into their room early. When I called housekeeping to inquire about the room type, HSK said they were turning the room over to clean at that moment. I attempted to assign the family to the room only to find that a mobile check-in had taken it out from under me! This would not be an issue if I could give the people who are physically present priority for rooms.
Maybe included in that, we could get an alert when they may check-in or have been auto-checked-in.
