DO NOT MOVE - inhouse extensions unblock reservations even with the Do Not Move active

Yes, we also agree there is a need to make DNM more secure. The system automatically unblocks a future reservation with that room number pre-assigned with DNM on, and does not tell you it is doing so with a warning, etc. This is causing problems for us with room blocking. And, when you go to assign the future guest a new room, you have to toggle DNM off before you can assign a new room number, even though there isn't a room number assigned anymore.
This is also causing problems for us.

Hello,
we rent long term apartments, so when we have rented a specific room number for a month it is important that we hard block this room. in a few cases, we had hotel guest in a specific room number and due to check out on the same day I had a new guest blocked to their room for a 2 month stay. however the front desk extended the hotel guest for another 2 nights and the system automatically unblocked our long term guest reservation. ( the desk agent had no idea this happened, no warning pop up)
when you look in the reservation for the long term guest it shows that same desk agent unblocked the room, but they never went into that reservation.
is there a way to make that DO NOT MOVE feature a little more secure?
