It is essential for Front Desk Supervisors/Managers to be able to enable/disable the posting of additional charges -- IF the guest doesn't have a credit card on file. This could be controlled via a toggle/button on the Stay Card. This means the guest might be a "cash only" guest. When the "allow post with no credit" button/toggle will be turned on, the guest will not be able to:
post any room charges to their room
use the minibar or telephone
Becuase the guest may not have enough credit, we want to be sure hotel staff can control posting activity. When the hotel supervisors deem that the guest is in good standing and will pay, the "allow post with no credit" button can be turned on and all interface/PMS postings can be made to the guest's room.
Currently, there is no functionality to flag a guest for this from the Stay Card.
NOTES----- *On the Stay Card, there should be a toggle button that will allow a user to flag a guest (an control the posting) as a "Allow post with no credit" button.
*There should be a filter added to the in-house guest report for "Allow post with no credit On/Off".
