We have another request for a similar change in the Confirmation letter from Blue Horizon Hotel wanting to change the text to taxes & Fees instead of Taxes.
We have a similar situation with a destination association fee associated with our room rate and we agree that having the label "taxes" changed to "taxes & fees" would properly label these charges on the registration card and also on the confirmation email / letter that is sent to our guests.

Currently, the registration card shows all "taxes" as "taxes." However, some additional charges are not technically state associated taxes - even though they are configured as taxes inside the PMS.
Case example: Our hotel has a daily resort fee, billed with the nightly rate, that has to be configured as tax. However, it is illegal to label associated fees as taxes. We are requesting the label be changed to "taxes and fees".
