BALANCE/DEPOSIT WINDOW INCLUDES FIXED CHARGES
On the Deposit / Balance window, amount due for fixed charges (e.g., resort fee, parking fee, refrigerator rental fees) for each night will be included under Nightly Charge and as part of the Total Cost of Stay and Outstanding Stay Total. This way, correct amount can be collected and applied for payment before check-in for the nightly room rate, exclusive packages fixed charges, and taxes minus deposit already paid.
ROOM STATUS - OOO / OOS
In the Housekeeping module, Out of Order and Out of Service status can be updated. To do so, select the Room tab. When changing service status of a room, specify From/To dates, select a reason from the drop-down and enter a comment.
In order for reasons to appear in the drop-down, add Reasons and Reason Codes by going to Menu > Settings > Rooms > Maintenance Reasons.
EXCLUDE ROOMS FROM ROOM ASSIGNMENT
Rooms/suites such as owner occupied or rented rooms can be excluded from:
- Manual room assignment
- Auto room assignment
- Manual check in
- Auto check in
To exclude a room, go to:
- Menu > Settings > Rooms > Rooms
- Select the room number
- Mark boxes for the exclusions that should apply
- Save Changes
STATION CHECKOUT FOR ROVER OVERLAY - EDIT EMAIL
Our newest Zest Station feature for Checkout for Rover Overlay has the ability to collect guest email addresses at check-out. After your guests have Checked Out on the Zest Station, they will receive an option to edit their existing email address on file or to proceed and send the email. This is especially helpful if you did not collect an email address at Check In.
