PRODUCT ENHANCEMENTS

Guest Balance/Guest to Pay Field Added to Stay Card


We’ve renamed the BALANCE field on the Stay Card to GUEST BALANCE—if the reservation status is checked in or checked out (with balance)—or GUEST TO PAY—if a reservation is due in. Below are examples of different scenarios:

  1. Reserved Reservations: Stay Card balance will show as GUEST TO PAY. The GUEST TO PAY balance shows the ProForma/projected balance of all bills for the primary guest only. All projected charges routed to another account or reservation will not contribute to the guest balance on the Stay Card.

  2. Checked In Reservations: Stay Card balance will show as GUEST BALANCE. The GUEST BALANCE shows the balance of all bills for the primary guest only. All charges routed to another account or reservation will not contribute the guest balance on the Stay Card.

  3. No Show Reservations: Stay Card balance will show as GUEST TO PAY. The GUEST TO PAY balance shows the ProForma/projected balance of all bills for the primary guest only. All projected charges routed to another account or reservation will not contribute to the guest balance on the Stay Card.

  4. Reserved Check-In Reservations: Stay Card balance will show as GUEST TO PAY. The GUEST TO PAY balance shows the ProForma/projected balance of all bills for the primary guest only. Should there be charges generated during the checked in stage of the reservation, and the charges are for the primary guest, then it will go toward the GUEST TO PAY balance.

  5. Checked Out Reservations: Stay Card balance will show as GUEST BALANCE. The GUEST BALANCE shows the balance of all bills for the primary guest only.


For all reservation statuses, the GUEST BALANCE/GUEST TO PAY indication will be displayed in red when in debit and green when the balance is $0.00 or a credit. 






GUEST TO PAY balances will match what has been calculated on the ProForma Invoice. This will include projected charges for add-ons that are built to generate with the room rate and any additional pre-stay charges.

CC Transactions Screen: Selecting Reservation Now Directs User to Stay Card


Under RESERVATION NO on the Financials > CC Transactions screen, you’ll see that the number is hyperlinked, and it will direct you to the Stay Card. This applies to both the PAYMENTS and AUTHORIZATIONS tabs for Approved, Declined, and Reverse Authorization transactions.



Once directed to the Stay Card, you will see a CC TRANSACTIONS link, which will take you back to the CC Transactions screen.


BAR Displays for All Room Types on Availability Screen


Previously, the BAR, or Best Available Rate, displayed within the Occupancy dropdown menu on the Availability screen. We have now moved the BAR to the main Availability screen, and it can be expanded like all other sections on the screen. When expanded, the single occupancy BAR will display for each room type. Please note, Stayntouch PMS will show “C” if a closed restriction is in place, or empty if there is no rate configured for a particular room type.


The display of the BAR follows the existing setting in Settings > Rates > Rate Sequence > Stayntouch PMS Dashboard to either display the lowest, highest, or a specific rate code.


Manage Groups: Applied Filter Will Not Reset Upon Selecting a Group and Returning to Results Screen


Previously when a filter was applied to a list of groups, and you selected a group, upon returning to the list of groups, the filter reset. Stayntouch PMS now keeps the filter applied upon selecting a group and returning to the list of groups. Furthermore, you will now also be directed back to the same page of results you were previously viewing.

Additional Stayntouch Guest Mobility Language Translations


We continue to add new Stayntouch Guest Mobility language translations in addition to the ones piloted in Release Notes (v5.30). The translations include:

  • Hotel Information Text

  • Footer Link Text

  • Room Upgrades (Name and Description)

  • Add-Ons

  • Reservation Details

  • Calendar

3C Payment Gateway: Stayntouch Guest Mobility iFrame Integration


For properties using Stayntouch Guest Mobility, we have built in a new iFrame for 3C Payment Gateway to enable collecting new credit or debit card details with a customized style matching the Stayntouch theme.


Using the new 3C Payment Gateway iFrame, guests can add their credit or debit card details from the following screens:

  • Check-in (needs to be activated by Stayntouch Admin)

  • Check-out, if there is an outstanding balance, and no credit card is attached to the reservation

  • When purchasing late check-out, and there is no credit card attached to the reservation
