How to Configure StayNTouch Guest Mobility Check-Out


To configure StayNTouch Guest Mobility check-out, navigate to Settings > Zest > Check-Out. From here, you will be able to determine which settings are present on StayNTouch Guest Mobility check-out emails.



GENERAL SETTINGS 


First, you can identify when guests will receive StayNTouch Guest Mobility check-out emails. You can select different times for weekdays versus weekends.



Below these settings, you can select the following checkboxes if desired: 

  • Only If Reservation Is CC Guaranteed: Guests will only be able to receive StayNTouch Guest Mobility check-out emails if their reservation is credit card guaranteed.
  • Only If Reservation Is Cash Payment: Guests will only be able to receive StayNTouch Guest Mobility check-out emails if they've made a cash payment on their reservation.



CHECK-OUT EMAIL ROOM EXCLUSION SETTINGS


If you want to exclude certain room types from receiving StayNTouch Guest Mobility check-out emails, you can select these from the dropdown menu for EXCLUDE FOLLOWING ROOM TYPES FROM EMAIL INVITE. Once you have selected the room types you would like to exclude, select the green EXCLUDE ROOM TYPES button.



Please note, only room type exclusions are a part of the StayNTouch Guest Mobility check-out settings. There are no exclusions for rate code or block codes.


WEB CHECK-OUT STAFF ALERT


If you want to have specific staff members alerted when guests complete StayNTouch Guest Mobility check-out, you can turn ON the toggle for WEB CHECK-OUT STAFF ALERT. This can be configured either for All or Only when check-out is NOT successful. Then, simply enter the email accounts (separated by semicolon) to which to send the alert below. Moreover, if you have the upsell late check-out option activated, you can also enter email accounts to which to send late check-out alerts only.



ROOM NUMBER VERIFICATION INSTRUCTIONS


You can add additional ROOM NUMBER VERIFICATION INSTRUCTIONS if desired; however, this is not a mandatory field. These instructions will appear on the landing page when the guest selects the option to check out.



WHAT TO DO IF A GUEST ISN'T RECEIVING CHECK-OUT EMAILS


If a guest isn't receiving check-out emails, you can manually have them sent to the guest by selecting the blue SEND CHECK-OUT EMAIL button at the top of the Guest Check-Out Setup page. If the guest meets the required criteria, their name and email address will appear for selection on the page pictured below. Simply select their name and hit SEND WEB CHECK-OUT INVITES to trigger a check-out email.
