Transactions with 0% Tax Automatically Recorded as Tax Exempt Records


Transactions are considered tax exempt if a charge code has tax attached for 0% OR if there is no tax attached to the charge code. In the example below, the charge code 7000 is configured as 0% and will always calculate the tax amount as 0 for its parent transactions. Stayntouch PMS will not post a tax if its amount is 0, and therefore there are no tax transactions posted corresponding to those charge codes.
