iCMP: Settings Guide

This guide will show you how to access the iCMP's main menu, how to set a "time" for your iCMP, and how to clear your device's Bluetooth settings (if the device has been paired with multiple iPads).

ACCESS THE MAIN MENU

  • Turn ON your iCMP device by pressing the power button located on the side of the device.

  • While the device is loading, wait for the copyright screen to appear.
  • You can only access the device’s menu settings from the copyright screen AND by entering the correct code while the copyright screen displays.
    • The menu code for the iCMP is:    2   6   3    4    and then the green button.

  • Again, ONLY when this code is entered, and the copyright screen is up, can you navigate to the device’s power settings.
  • When the following screen appears, press F to navigate to the device's MAIN MENU.
  • The functions screen is the main menu of the iCMP device.
  • You can use the F2 and F3 keys to scroll up or down the menu list.

  • Or press a number on the keypad to immediately navigate to that screen.
  • Use the green button to select a setting.
  • Use the yellow button to navigate backwards.
  • Or the red button to return to the “F” screen.

        TIME FORMAT AND SET TIME

  • Turn ON your iCMP device by pressing the power button located on the side of the device.
  • While the device is loading, wait for the copyright screen to appear.
  • You can only access the device’s menu settings from the copyright screen AND by entering the correct code while the copyright screen displays.
  • While the device powers on, and the copyright screen appears, enter the following code: 2634 and then the green button.
  • Once on the "Press F for menu" screen:
    • Select 0 - Telium Manager.
    • Choose 3 - Initialization.
    • Then, select 1 - Parameters.
    • Select the date and time (use F2 and F3 to scroll) and the green button, then the time format and the green button.
    • Choose how you’d like the time to display on your device. The format can be either an AM/PM format or 24/24 format (which is the same as military time).
    • You can use the F2 and F3 buttons to select either: AM/PM Format or 24/24 Format
    • Press the green button to save your settings.

RESET TIME
Now, we need to enter a time. By setting a specific time for your device, you are telling the iCMP what its “restart time” will be. This ensures that the iCMP restarts at a time when activity levels are relatively low at your property. We suggest times like midnight or 3am.
  • To configure your device’s restart time - select F > 0 > 3 > 1 > date and time > set time
  • Use the numbered pin pad to enter a time in the space provided.
  • Put a zero before a single digit time. For example, 3:15AM would be written as 03:15 AM.
  • Use the F2 or F3 keys to select AM or PM
  • Use the green button to save these settings.
  • Navigate back to the F screen and then power down the device by holding the yellow button and the # button.

RENAME THE iCMP DEVICE

The Ingenico iCMP device's default name is its Serial No., which is also located on the label on the back of the device. This device name (or portion of it) will appear as the device name on the iPad once BT pairing has been done.

  • While the device powers on, and the copyright screen appears, enter the following code: 2634 and then the green button.
  • Press to access the settings menu.
    • Select the F2 key until you reach 5 - Bluetooth. Hit the green button.
    • Press the F2 key until you reach 5 - Advanced options. Hit the green button.
    • Choose 1 - Rename. Hit the green button.
    • Press the yellow button to clear the original text.
    • Enter a new name for the device.
    • Hit the green button to save.
    • Lastly, reset the device by pressing the yellow and # buttons at the same time.

CLEAR BLUETOOTH SETTINGS

It may be necessary to remove any previously paired Bluetooth devices with your iCMP. Follow the steps below to remove any previously paired device.

  • Turn ON the device.
